If being any percentage of nontoxic brings stress to you…. It’s not worth it. Stress is just as toxic as the chemicals we are trying to cut out. Have I replaced everything, no. Will I one day? I hope so but I also won’t let the toxic things I still have in my home bring me stress. I used to hate going to the dentist or eye doctor. I wanted to feel put together but knew they would be up close and personal.

That always started the thoughts….
I don’t like the feel of the makeup.
I never feel it stays in place.
It’s never the right shade, even after trying to mix a custom color.

Then I tried 3D Cream Foundation. Getting up close and personal is no longer my worry. Now if I could only find the fix for the regular dentist visit nerves.

War paint or makeup. Some days it feels like motherhood should be met with war paint.

From everyone needing you at once to the endless bickering… some days are just hard.

It might just be makeup but when I feel put together it can make those hard motherhood days a bit easier to get thru and find the joys of it.

So call it what you want, I know it is just what I need to feel amazing and give my family what they need.

What do you do to get thru the hard days? Drop some advice and tag a mother you think is doing a great job.

I can not count how many times I’ve been tired or busy and just felt like it didn’t matter if I put makeup on. I mean it’s just vanity right?

But it’s not! Being a mom is exhausting and if you don’t feel ready to tackle the day you’ve got to fake it till you make it right?

Well my “fake it” came when I started using this makeup. I would put it on and…

-my mood was better
-the tired I felt didn’t feel so big
-the laundry pile was a sign of amazing moments
-the tantrum was not soul crushing

It’s when I took the 5 minutes to fill my cup that I was able to be a better me, a better mom, a better wife.

Transformation Tuesday

Transformations happen in many forms. Some are visual some are internal.

Some take a short amount of time, like putting on a face of makeup. Others take a long time, like learning your triggers and why they trigger you.

So here is your reminder that you are worth a transformation. A big one, small one, external or internal you’re worth the time, effort and money it takes to get there.

Listen to your gut, the God wink or your hearts desire. What are you being nudged to transform? Write it down and set a date for yourself.

Now write down what steps you will take to transform. Something like this…
I want to transform my hair.
1. I will schedule an appointment.
2. Find inspiration.
3. Go to appointment.

That’s a simple one but you get the point. Make a commitment to yourself to transform what you need/want to and you will get it done.
