I hope you are all healthy and happy. I miss seeing you in the salon. It’s been over a month now since I closed. 🥸 That just seems crazy to me!

Well I’m here today to tell you about what I’ve been up to. I have been in the kitchen baking! A lot! 🫐
And I’ve decided to open a plant based breakfast spot here in Des Moines called Baked Kind. I will be officially open for business in January 2021. 🌱 But there will be a couple pre opening events in the next month. So stay tuned for details on that!

I am going to miss seeing you all so much.
And I've thought long and hard about who I would trust to do your hair and talk with you every month about life and kids and the world. ❤️ I know how important that relationship is between a person and their stylist.

With that being said, I'd like to introduce you to Courtney Wolfe. She is a talented stylist and massage therapist. She is fantastic with blondes, I speak from experience. She isn't afraid to try some new color techniques but she will also give you an honest opinion if you're about to make a questionable hair decision. 🌻 And on top of that, she is the sweetest, kindest person all the time. I know all of you will love her as much as I do! ❤️

Courtney is opening a new salon on Ingersoll Ave called Lovan Salon + Spa. It's a great location with lots of parking. She hopes to be open there by the beginning of November!
The same COVID-19 precautions are taken at Courtney's salon as well. So don't forget your mask 😷
I have complete confidence that she will keep you safe and will always put your wellbeing over making money.

I have some exciting news!!! 🥰

In order to provide all of you(and myself) the safest possible environment while getting your hair done, I've decided to move out of Aviva Salon and back into a studio of my own! ❤️
I will miss so many things about being at Aviva. But I look forward to seeing all of you in my new studio located at
Phenix Salon Suites, just a couple doors down from Fresh Thyme in West Des Moines.

I am *hoping* to re-open mid June, assuming our state is in a little better shape by then. 🤓
Also, I have chosen to have a COVID-19 test done through Test Iowa prior to seeing any of you. 😷
