☀️ Seeing your dark spots pop up more in the summer? You’re not imagining it!

I had a great conversation with a client the other day about pigmentation, and it reminded me how many people don’t realize that *heat* can make certain types of pigmentation (especially melasma) appear more noticeable. Add in our Texas sun, and it’s the perfect recipe for stubborn dark spots.

My biggest tips:

🤍 SPF every single day. Even if you’re just driving to work or running errands. That sun coming through your car window still reaches your skin!

🤍 Use a pigment inhibitor. SPF protects your skin, but a pigment inhibitor helps keep excess pigment from forming. If dark spots are your concern, you really want both.

🤍 Don’t forget your hands! After I apply my skincare, I always rub the extra over the tops of my hands—they’re in the sun just as much as our faces.
