Hand Crafted Soaps Southern Sisters' Soap Our Story... In 2010, DeAnne purchased her first Nubian goats, and began making cheese and homemade soaps and sharing... NOVEMBER 13, 2018 In September 2017, DeAnne took a soap making class through Sustainable Living at Homestead Heritage in Waco, TX to refine her skills. Excited to practice what she learned, she began making small batches of soaps and sharing these with friends, family, co-workers and her clients. In the spring, when her goats kidded, she began adding the creamy goat milk to her soaps. Everybody loved the bubbly lather and moisture in the goat’s milk bars. At the unction of her husband, Derrick, plans began to turn her soap making hobby into a business---Southern Sisters’ Soap.
