Everyone’s hair is on a journey, and every journey is different. Everyone’s genetics are different. Everyone’s curl pattern, texture and density are all different. Some people have damage. Some people have build up. Some people take the time and do all the things to keep their hair healthy, and still get different results than anyone else. What makes one person’s hair look good, may not work for yours. What really works is taking the time to get to know your hair and finding out what it needs. So here’s your reminder to stop comparing, stop hating your hair because it doesn’t look like someone else’s and put in the work to find your hair’s full potential. Let it do what it was made to do

I am happy to welcome my friend Erin to the Refuge Salon team! I have worked beside her most of my career and we're together again! She brings many years of experience as a color specialist. Her works is top of the line and we are so lucky to have her!

Starting April 5th I will be relocating to The Hairdressers @ Refuge Salon, 9 East Ave., Westerly. Joining my friend 😊 Uptown has been my home for nearly 13 years. Jamie and Maryanne have been the most amazing people to work for and will forever be family💙 I just need to make some adjustments for my new self😏 I hope to see you there! If you have an existing appointment I will be in touch this week. You will be able to keep all pre-scheduled appointments! If you would like to remain at Uptown I can also help you with a new appointment.
