Enchanting Reflections

Cannot believe it’s been 25 yrs- in one breath it feels like yesterday and it the other it feels so long ago.

I was a junior in HS - coming back from lunch to Math class to be exact when the school shared what happened. They rolled in a TV (yup I’m that old) and the whole class watched … I’ll never forget leaving school early and being glued to the TV / calling the Red Cross to see how we could help , where we could donate blood. My heart still hurts thinking about it.

I went to NYC about a month later and saw ground zero … the images of the poster of loved ones missing is burned in my brain forever .

Our country has been under attack by the middle east my WHOLE life ….. I just hope we never forget this day and NEVER allow it to happen again.

We are not a perfect country by any means but we are the closest county to perfection out there, it’s a hill I’m willing to die on 🇺🇸

My wish for the 25 year remembrance, is we all listen to each other a little more , love a whole lot more and be proud to be American… today and everyday!

Thinking of all the ones who lost loved ones that day and every single military person that has selflessly tried to protect our beautiful country from evil.

4 years ago I took my very first client at … since then it’s been one of the best journeys of my life. I’ve learned so much about myself (I’m pretty badass to start a business with 0 clientele and now turn it into a thriving business that helps support my family)

it’s hard to be so confident out loud but I would be impressed with anyone that built a business from scratch. .. so why not me?!?! 😂

I’ve met some amazing clients that have turned into friends for life. Like truly amazing people who are extremely caring and authentic.

I’ve taken countless educational classes to grow myself as a stylist. Running a business is not for the weak it’s not all glamorous, my brain never shuts down. Whether it be what I did today or what I have to do tomorrow or what call I need to return or what call I need to make, whose message I need to respond to, making sure you’re fully stocked for whatever walks through the door, not to mention having to help people through very traumatic situations or celebrate some of their greatest moments- us stylist truly are therapist , motivators, beauticians & and safe landing spot.

I would like to take a moment to thank every single person that’s ever walked through these doors, to the ones who have stuck with me. I appreciate you more than you know and for the ones I may not have seen in a while. You also have helped me grow.

Here’s to many more years!

I am working on updating some policies over the next couple of weeks.

This is a change implemented immediately.

I know that no call no shows are part of the territory in this industry. However, I cannot stress enough that this is my livelihood. This is how I feed my family so when somebody does not show up for their appointment, not only is it money out of my families pockets, it also leaves me no time to try and fill that slot.

I am very lucky. I don’t experience many of them but when I do, it hurts both the flow of my day and financially.

I feel I give plenty of reminders for the appointment and up until today the policy was 24 hours. A simple call or text is very appreciated... it shows that you respect me as a human and as a service provider.

I completely understand life happens. If you know me, you know I get it. I’m not naïve to know sometimes there are emergency situations and extenuating circumstances those will be handled on a case by a case basis, but in order for me to protect my business going forward there are a few changes that need to be made.
If anybody has any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I have no problem explaining further or clarifying any Grey areas.

As always, thank you so much to the ones that continue to choose me for their hair. I appreciate you all so much. There are no words to express my gratitude to be here 4 years later still doing what I love in the place that I built from scratch.
