Over the last almost TWO years, I’ve spent countless hours learning everything I can about scalp health, hair wellness, buildup, irritation, and the overall foundation of healthy hair growth. The more I learned, the more I realized how many hair concerns actually begin at the scalp.

That’s why I’m so excited to officially introduce a new scalp wellness service in the salon using the Malibu C Head Lab system 💆🏼‍♀️

This service is designed to detox, rebalance, and create the ideal environment for stronger, healthier hair. Think of it as skincare for your scalp because your scalp deserves the same level of care as the rest of your body.

Using professional scalp analysis, exfoliation, detoxifying treatments, hydration, and relaxing scalp massage, this service helps remove buildup, excess oils, hard water minerals, dead skin, and impurities that can affect both scalp comfort and hair health.

Color correction is never just a “quick fix”. It’s experience, chemistry, patience and honesty.

Sometimes the most professional thing a stylist can do is be real about their skill set. Not every service is in every stylist’s wheelhouse, and that’s okay. What’s not okay is allowing a client to leave with less than acceptable hair (putting that nicely), not offering a refund and then ghosting the client all together. When stylists are honest about their abilities, it protects the integrity of your hair and ensures you get the results you deserve.

My guest came in wanting to stay as light as possible, but trusted the process and was open to going darker all over if that’s what her hair needed. Instead of taking away all that blonde, I focused on adding depth where it was missing and strategically placing darker tones to create balance, dimension, and a more cohesive color.

Nothing I did today was going to erase the damage that was already there. We could have taken the easy route and gone dark all over but that wasn’t what she wanted. Instead, I worked within what was possible to give her something she wouldn’t just settle for, but something she could truly love. 💕

Sent her home with k18 treatments, gave her a little trim today and a good moisture and strengthening treatment. So happy I was trusted with this project.

I just wanted to give my clients a quick heads up. My son, Sören, will be having surgery on May 11th. Because of that, my schedule for that week will be dependent on his recovery and how he’s doing afterward.

Family will be my main focus while he heals, so there may be some adjustments or rescheduling if needed. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during that time.

To my valued guests, thank you for your continued loyalty and trust. As the cost of professional products, education, and salon overhead continues to rise, a refined price adjustment will be implemented on hair services beginning April 1, 2026.

To secure current pricing, pre-booking future appointments prior to April 1 is highly encouraged. Pre-booking ensures priority access to your preferred dates and times and allows for a seamless, elevated experience.

In alignment with providing a more personalized and unhurried service, double booking will be discontinued, unless mutually agreed upon by both guests. This allows me to dedicate my full attention, artistry, and care to each appointment.

This update supports the continued delivery of premium services, exceptional products, and the luxury experience you expect when you’re in my chair. I’m deeply grateful for your understanding and ongoing support 🤍
