What is micro-needling?

Using my pen, I create micro injuries to your skin. Why would you want to injur your skin?! It’s a controlled injury where I pe*****te into the second layer of your skin so that your collagen and elastin is activated! Collagen is what plumps your skin and elastin is what lets your skin bounce back to its normal resting shape. Micro needling activates this wound healing process that allows your skin to plump and firm.
Including a serum in your treatment is recommended because whatever you put on the skin through microneedling will pe*****te deeper into your skin maximizing results.
It is recommended to do this procedure once every 4 weeks (deepending on age) and at least 2/3 sessions for best results.
Internally even after your skin has healed the effects of this treatment can be seen in as little as two weeks and continue for up to 6 months!

There are two kinds : Physical and Chemical

✨💪🏻PHYSICAL: The active ingredients in this type of SPF sit on top of the skin creating a physical barrier 〰️ that offers a broad spectrum of protection against UVA and UVB rays.

✨🔆CHEMICAL : If you are going to enjoy water 💦 based activities or perspire, this type of SPF is absorbed into the skin, UVA and UVB rays are then absorbed into your skin and converted into heat, which is then released from the body as a chemical reaction.

SPF IS A POWERFUL TOOL THAT HELPS PREVENT PREMATURE AGING YOU SHOULD WEAR IT DAILY EVEN WHEN “the sun ☀️ isn’t out”

The SPF number tells you how long you will be protected for.
You multiply that by how long it takes for you to experience sunburn
You get your amount of protection from UV light.

If you burn after 10 minutes in the sun ☀️ and you buy SPF 30 you are protected for 300 minutes (5 hours)
It is still important to re-apply SPF every 2-3 hours especially if you are swimming, sweating and rubbing off from clothes.

Not all skin care Products are what they say they are! When looking at the list of ingredients remember ‼️ MOST of the product is made of the first few ingredients listed!
For example: If they are advertising “Hyaluronic Acid” and it’s benefits but HA is listed towards the end of the ingredient list there is not much HA in there.

Sometimes skin care products are made with ingredients that are not so good for your skin! Watch out for:
Parabans: these are cheap preservatives that keep the product fresh (check your moisturizer)
