My foundation is built on a deep understanding of my values, and I strive to maintain balance and perspective in all aspects of my life. While I’m open to growth and new experiences, I stay firmly anchored in who I am. In my spare time, you can find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life (usually barefoot with shorts and a tank)--whether that’s spending time with loved ones, engaging in activities that nourish my mind and body, or reflecting on how I can continue to grow while staying true to myself.

In the past month, representatives from two different organizations have reached out to me asking if I would donate a gift certificate (which I almost ALWAYS say "yes" to). For one reason or another, NEITHER of the gift certificates, which I had already filled out and left at the front desk at Vivid so they could be picked up, got to their respective destinations.
SO, here I am, about to raffle the first one to the people that I KNOW love raffles, lol.
RULES: There will be 20 spots on the wheel. $5/spot.

You do not need to help me move your arm, leg, finger, etc.
I promise, I've got it. There is not a part of you that I can't move. That arm suddenly becoming 30 lbs of dead weight? Bring it, I've still got it, it's exactly what I want!! Stop helping! Stop anticipating what's coming next and just be floppy. Just be there. My job is to help you relax. Your job is to let me.
Did you know?...that I missed "Did you know?" this week?
Well, I will try to make up for it here. Today, and for the next six weeks, I will post parts of a series of six hills I will die on as a massage therapist.
Part One - Your massage doesn't need to be productive every second. We don't need to chase down every knot, fix your entire body, and turn relaxation into another item on your to-do list. Sometimes, the goal really can be to just feel really, REALLY good
Did you know?...That tension took time to create. It will also take time to release.
Your body didn't build that tightness overnight. It may take more than one session to work through it. That is normal, not a red flag.
