Hello July! ✌🏼🇺🇸

I’ll be taking a half day on 7/2 and we will be closed through the 4th. Most of July is booked but I have a few haircut appointments listed below. I still have a few openings available in August as well, but they’re booking fast.

Just a reminder: if you must cancel please try to do so 48 hours in advance. I try to be lenient with cancellations because I know things sometimes happen beyond our control. Unfortunately, if you can’t give 48 hours notice I will have to charge for the cancelled appointment before rescheduling a new one. Thanks for your understanding.

It’s going to be HOT today, and I’m sure a lot of us are heading out to the pool or beach for the first time this season. Let’s take a minute and talk about your hair! Chances are you’ve spent a lot of time and money at the salon to get your color looking perfect, or hydrating with weekly masques at home. Protect your hair when you’re outside with a few easy steps.

👒 The most obvious of course is to wear a hat. A hat will keep hair safe from damage and prevent your color from fading. Of course it will also benefit you skin as well, which is a nice added benefit.

💁🏻‍♀️ Did you know we have hair care products with added ingredients that are effective against the harmful UV rays? Ask about these during your next appointment. Using the right products at the right time of year will help you protect your hair from damage.

🧴Chlorine and salt water can mess with your hair’s health. Dampen your hair, and spritz some leave in conditioner in your hair before swimming to minimize the effect of chlorine and salt water on your hair.

🧖🏽‍♀️ Use a hair masque religiously once a week. This will fill in the gaps and repair hair damage. This is a great idea all year round, but particularly in the Summer.
