With weather changes comes increased chances for skin irritation. This client was on a topical prescription that was ineffective at resolving their eczema and couldn't stop it from spreading on their arms and hands. I recommended some simple lifestyle changes to help the prescription perform better, 2 products to help stop the irritation from expanding into surrounding tissue, and accelerated the healing process in my office. The client was so thrilled with their results that they shared what they learned through me with their dermatologist, who then prescribed them a different topical that reflected my ingredient recommendation.

This is not me claiming that my services are better than a medical professional's advice- it is just an example that people need customized care, and that all professionals should be willing to listen and make adjustments when progress is not being made with the original treatment plan. This shows that they actually care about the client/patient more than their ego. My role will always be to compliment medical advice with my knowledge and expertise out of respect for the medical community.
