Huda Beauty’s Oscar worthy “apology” changes nothing about the harm that was done or the double standards we called out in this letter. This is crisis PR, not real accountability. The boycott continues until Sephora takes a clear public stance.
Sephora claims to stand for an “inclusive beauty community,” for human rights, and against
misinformation and hate fuelled narratives. Yet they are still platforming a brand whose founder amplified propaganda for the same regime that is brutalizing protesters during the 2026 Lion and Sun Revolution. You cannot market “We Belong” while dismissing the safety and dignity of Iranians and the diaspora.
We are demanding that Sephora:
1. Drop Huda Beauty from its global roster, and
2. Issue a firm statement distancing itself from state aligned propaganda and extremism.
