The 2nd slide is a combination of freckles, sun spots and discoloration from hormones.

What product I used to lessen the discoloration?

What does it do?

This serum is an antioxidant 🍊🧴🍸 cocktail with natural tyrosinase inhibitors to reduce melanin production and brighten skin. By using it daily this can reduce the appearance of discolorations associated with acne, sun, trauma, hormones and any chemical or laser procedure quickly.

This is a great addition to any regimen looking to prevent skin discoloration, dryness or for pre & post treatment.

Slugging is a skincare trend where you use occlusives like aquaphor or Vaseline instead of moisturizer. Occlusives are heavy and fatty and help seal in moisture but they are great for spot-treating ultra dry patches but not the full face.

Snail mucin is my opinion is overhyped there are some risks/side effects like itching, rash redness and irritation. There are other products that can offer the same thing like anti microbial properties. For example Hyacin active.

DIY skincare will cause more harm then good. Lemons won’t brighten your skin.

Celebrity skincare is not worth the hype, you’re paying for the name not necessarily the ingredients! I wouldn’t want to take advice from a celebrity who is only doing it for a cash grab and has no background knowledge on skincare.

I don’t believe in minimalistic skincare, you can’t get all of your anti-aging benefits from just a cleanser and a moisturizer. You need other products!

Skincare in makeup is not always a good thing! Yes it’s true you can have too much of a good thing and that can cause irritation especially if there are ingredients like niacinamide. Too many actives can do more harm then good and invites more potential for irritation.

Did you know that lines on your face aren’t always a sign of aging? Yeah, you read that right! Lines could mean that your skin is dehydrated! And a great way to help rehydrate your skin is by incorporating hydrating ingredients like Hylauronic Acid. Hylauronic acid is naturally found in our skin in both the epidermis and dermis as a structural support and moisture magnet! Besides that star ingredient if your skin is dehydrated you should also look into products that have humectants like glycerin and Lactic Acid Glycerin pulls moisture from the air to hydrate the skin. Lactic acid you may have heard in regards to chemical exfoliation but it’s very versatile and is a great hydrator!

Dermaplaning 💕💁‍♀️

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive service that involves the removal of vellus hair, AKA peach fuzz 🍑 and dead skin cells.

Why do we recommend coming in for a Dermaplaning vs the at home facial razors? Facial razors do not remove dead skin cells, it may remove some hair but what it is actually doing is creating micro tears in the skin, disrupting your skin barrier which can lead to more damage!

When you see your Esthetician we use sterile surgical blades to remove the hair and dead skin cells. This service can help diminish the appearance of acne scarring and can also help your products pe*****te the skin a lot better since the hair and the dead skin cells are removed.

The biggest contraindication for Dermaplaning is Active acne. You would not be a great candidate until the active acne is gone or else you risk the bacteria 🦠 spreading and causing more acne!

I never really used or believed in eye creams or serums until I got this! It had a metal tip/roller to help depuff the under eye. This is my savior since I still have a younger baby who doesn’t have a consistent sleep schedule yet! This is the one thing besides concealer that is corrective that I truly believe makes a difference.

BETA GEL!! She’s that GURL! This is a hydrating facial exfoliant in the form of a serum! She’s got 10% Glycolic acid. This is pregnancy safe and can be used on sensitive skin! I use this every night after cleansing! This helps minimize breakouts and heal the skin at the SAME TIME!
