CLE ELECTROLOGY – Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

Appointment time is reserved exclusively for each client. Because electrolysis treatments are time-sensitive and appointment availability is limited, we kindly ask that all clients respect scheduled treatment times so we can provide the best possible service to everyone.

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $25 rescheduling fee that must be paid prior to booking a future appointment.

Clients who do not show for their scheduled appointment without notice (“no-shows”) will be charged 100% of the missed appointment fee, which will be added to their next visit balance and must be paid before future appointments can be scheduled.

Late cancellations and no-shows prevent other clients from accessing available treatment times and impact our ability to accommodate everyone efficiently. Every appointment slot is important, and honoring scheduled times helps us stay on schedule and provide consistent care for all clients.

Thank you for understanding and respecting our time, as we respect yours. We appreciate your support and cooperation.

✨ Typical Electrolysis Healing Responses ✨

What’s normal after your treatment?

Electrolysis works by targeting the hair follicle, so it’s completely normal for your skin to react temporarily as it heals.

🔴 Redness (Erythema)

Mild redness is the most common reaction right after treatment.
• Looks like a light sunburn
• Usually fades within a few hours to 24 hours
• Caused by increased blood flow to the treated area

✅ Tip: Apply a cool compress and avoid heat (saunas, hot showers) for 24 hours.

⚪ Pimples (Post-Treatment Breakouts)

Small whiteheads or pimples can appear 1–3 days after treatment.
• Normal inflammatory response
• Can happen if bacteria enters open follicles
• More common in acne-prone skin

✅ Tip: Keep the area clean, avoid touching, and don’t pick!

🟤 Scabs (Micro-Crusting)

Tiny scabs may form as part of the healing process.
• Protective layer while skin repairs
• Usually very small (pinpoint-sized)
• Fall off naturally within a few days

⚠️ Important: Do NOT pick—this can cause scarring.

🐝 Histamine Bumps (Welts)

Raised, itchy bumps may appear shortly after treatment.
• Caused by histamine release in the body
• More common in sensitive skin or first-time clients
• Typically subside within a few hours

✅ Tip: An antihistamine (if approved by your doctor) or aloe can help soothe.

All of these reactions are temporary and part of normal healing. Everyone’s skin is different, and responses may vary depending on sensitivity, area treated, and hydration.

Proper aftercare = better healing + better results🙌

Permanent hair removal isn’t just about the machine—it’s about using the right probe for the right hair. Selecting the correct probe size and probe type (ITH or IBL) is essential for effectiveness, comfort, and skin health.

The probe size must closely match the diameter of the hair and follicle.

Proper probe size allows:
• Accurate energy delivery at the follicle base
• Better hair release with minimal resistance
• Less trauma to surrounding tissue

✍🏻ITH vs IBL — What’s the Difference?

Both ITH and IBL probes are insulated to protect the skin and deliver energy exactly where hair growth begins.

✨ ITH probes use focused heat and are perfect for most hair types, offering fast, precise treatments. (Thermolysis)
✨ IBL probes combine heat with a chemical action for stubborn, coarse, or hormonal hair that needs extra support. (Can be used with all 3 modalities- Electrolysis, Thermolysis, and Blend)

The right probe is chosen based on hair type, depth, and response—because permanent hair removal isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Please Don’t Tweeze or Wax During Electrolysis

If you’re having electrolysis, tweezing or waxing can slow your results and even cause MORE hair growth.

• It removes the hair your electrologist needs to treat
• Pulling hair out injures the follicle, causing blood flow to rush to the area
• That increased circulation can stimulate dormant hairs and wake them up
• Repeated trauma can turn fine hairs into thicker, darker ones—especially on the face

This leads to longer treatment time and higher cost.

What’s OK between appointments:

Shaving, trimming, or clipping — these remove hair at the surface without stimulating growth.

⚡️Did you know electrolysis has been trusted for 150 years?🤯

First introduced in 1875, this time-tested technique has remained the gold standard for safely and permanently removing unwanted hair—no matter the hair color, skin tone, or area being treated.

🤔What Is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis uses a tiny, sterile probe to treat each hair follicle with a small amount of energy. This destroys the follicle’s ability to regrow hair. Once a follicle is treated effectively, that hair is gone forever.

✍🏻Why Choose Electrolysis?
• Permanent results (not “reduction”)
• Works on all hair types and colors, unlike laser
• Safe for all skin tones
• Ideal for any area: face, body, and sensitive zones
• Perfect for hormonal hair growth, PCOS, transgender clients, or anyone who wants long-term smoothness

✅Clinically proven for a century and a half. Electrologist’s have been helping people achieve smooth, hair-free skin with precision and safety. Modern technology now makes treatments more comfortable, efficient, and customizable than ever before.

✨ Smooth skin is timeless — and so is electrolysis.✨

If you’re ready to start your permanent hair-removal journey, electrolysis is the method backed by science, history, and results.💪

🚫 Missed Appointments = Missed Progress! 🚫

When you skip an electrolysis session, it’s not just time you lose — it’s results!

Missed treatments allow new hairs to surface, meaning we have to play catch-up.

💸That means more sessions, longer timelines, and sometimes even costly plucking in between.❌

⏰ Staying consistent keeps your treatments effective and your results on track — saving you time and money in the long run!

✨ Stay on schedule. Stay smooth.
