🌿 What is Manual Lymph Drainage useful for?

Manual Lymph Drainage, or MLD, is a gentle technique that uses light, rhythmic movements to encourage the natural flow of lymphatic fluid.

MLD may be useful for:

💧 Easing mild puffiness and fluid retention
💧 Relieving feelings of heaviness or congestion
💧 Encouraging healthy lymphatic movement
💧 Supporting appropriate post-surgical recovery—with medical clearance
💧 Providing deeply calming, restorative relaxation

Unlike deep-tissue massage, MLD uses very light pressure. Many clients find the slow, repetitive movements wonderfully soothing for both the body and nervous system.

I’m excited to officially add Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) to my services in Westminster!

Although I’ve been certified in Manual Lymph Drainage for some time and have been providing it privately to clients, I’ve decided it’s time to make this gentle, specialized technique part of my regular offerings at Bod-D-Well Massage.

Manual Lymph Drainage uses light, rhythmic, intentional movements designed to encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. It’s a very different experience from deep tissue or traditional therapeutic massage—gentle, calming, and focused specifically on supporting lymphatic flow.

MLD sessions will be offered in 60-minute appointments.
