I hung out with discomfort again yesterday and this time we made a little magic✨ I can’t thank you enough for guiding me through this process so gracefully and making it one of the best self experiences I’ve ever had.

Get uncomfortable. It’s where you grow so you can eventually shine☀️

Discomfort has been trying really hard to be my friend lately. It’s kind of a sucky friend though. When it’s around I tend to get shaky, nauseous and end up with a headache. I’m slowly learning that it’s intention isn’t to hurt me but to grow me. When I lean into it and push through the pain my vessel grows and makes me ready for the next challenge.

Thank you new “friend”. I’m sure I’ll see you again very soon.

💫After three months of being back to work I finally took some time to take some pictures last night💫
It’s been eight months since I’ve seen this beauty and her patience paid off💕

💥I’ve been knocking out some amazing color work lately but I have been way too exhausted to take the extra time to photograph. I don’t know if it’s wearing the mask for 8-10 hours a day, the subtle anxiety that now lingers in what used to be my🌜personal bubble of peaceful, creative zen🌛 or the extensive work that goes into doing hair these days (I’m not complaining! I love every step!).

Honestly I think it’s all the above plus some🙌

Whatever it is I know I’m not alone🌏

I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m doing the best I can to get everyone rebooked in a timely manner. We have to work at 50% capacity and have time between each guest to clean and disinfect. Due to this I have a limited schedule and I’m not able to fit as many people in one day or week as I used to. I feel the love from all of you❤️ and it lifts me to know how much I am needed. If you text I’m sorry if it takes me a couple days to get back to you. I WILL get back to you! I have a large clientele and 8 weeks worth of appointments is a lot. Hang in there! This is a challenging time for all of us girls in the salon but this AMAZING team has rallied together to make sure you have the absolute safest environment to be in. It just takes added time.

The Governor has spoken (though vaguely) and Hairdressers and Barbers are able to start working!

💫I am very excited to get back to work but unfortunately I will not be able to start booking appointments until the end of next week💫

With that being said there are a number of new procedures and policies that we need to follow.

💥Masks must be worn at all times for anyone over 2 years old. Please be warned that masks will most likely get color on them during chemical services. Please do not wear your nicest mask to your appointment. If possible please wear a mask with ear loops, not one that ties behind your head.

💥You will be asked to sign a waiver, that I will provide, stating that neither you or anyone in your household has been ill or has had a fever in the last 14 days.
💥PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reschedule your appointment if you’re not feeling well! I have a healthy family to go home to and I want to keep it that way!

💥💥💥Please keep in mind that we have a Mama-To-Be in the building! We are all taking extra measures to keep her as safe as possible!!!!

💥There will be a sanitation station to disinfect your hands when you walk in the building. Please use it before you enter the salon area.

💥Please arrive to your appointment on time and be as flexible as possible. I will be taking my time with each appointment as everyone is extremely overdue.

💥Text me when you arrive but please stay in your vehicle until I respond telling you its ok to come in. I have to clean and disinfect my station before you enter my area.

💥Do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment! This includes children. We MUST keep the number of people in the salon to a minimum to keep with social distancing standards.

💥We will not be offering refreshments and snacks at this time but feel free to bring your own drink if necessary. Please refrain from bringing food into the salon as well unless medically necessary.

💥Refrain from using your cell phone during your appointments unless it’s an emergency.

💥Please do not touch retail products on mine or any of the other stylists shelves. If you have a question about a product please ask.

💥Please limit your belongings. No large bags or bookbags.

💥We ask that there is no talking or limited talking during shampoos.

💥No waxing services can be done at this time.

💥I will not be offering online booking at this time.

💥I will not be able to offer services that take an excessive amount of time; ex. balayage, double processes, etc.

💥 I will not be able to take evening appointments at this time. 

💥There may be a slight increase in price of your service due to having to use more hair color, lightener, etc. That will be determined during our consultation.

Like I stated above I will start scheduling in a week or two. Please be patient and know that I am doing everything I can to get everyone booked in a healthy and safe manner! I can’t wait to see you all!

As you may have heard the State of Maryland has announced that Hair Salons and Barbershops can officially open as of 5pm this Friday, May 15th. This news came out of nowhere! Because of new protocols and regulations we are trying to figure out our new scheduling and timing. Due to this I will not be able to book appointments at this time. Please be patient as we work through all the details! I’ll be in touch ASAP! I promise! I will be sending a text and/or email blast explaining changes that I have implemented in my business and any new protocol that needs to be followed when coming to your appointment. As much of a SHOCKER as this was I am very grateful and happy that this was the announcement! I can’t wait to see you all very soon!❤️
