Caregiver Life with Mary

While caregiver can be stressful especially when its plan renew time (if you're with self directive services you know ;) ) it can also be fun we took this rainy day and hit up the movies and all I gotta say is it would've been cool if the 4D set up had it so the wheelchair people could experience the experience eve if its just the air and water effects 😉

You never know where we will end up what started out as a yard work day ended with a impromptu trip down town for some lunch and fresh air

Sometime you gotta help your client/brother through some rough things

Today's fun

Come out and support an amazing cause we have another fight on our hands and need all the help we can get for out disabled community

Joey Weigman is doing so well with self directive and did so bad in traditional (he would literally be stuck in a room even though he was supposed to be a ambassador for the disabled community) if you know Joey you know he loves to be out in his community that spans past the state and always wants to be on an adventure with friends and family alike with our this program that would be impossible plus since getting the right amount and proper staff he hasnt had a major illness or hospitalization in almost 4 years.
In traditional services he would comw.home with no coat or even wrong coat on soaked diapers and probably never even got ro use his communication board and when we pulled him out found out he wasn't even getting his puree foods.
Self directive hes improving greatly with his communication board and puree feeds instead of 1 small meal hes started to have a meal and a snack with his tube feeding he gets to pick what we do and loves going to the horse farm and see his friends of all walks of life.

Adjusting to some new meds while taking care of the boss/family plus cleaning its never ending especially when the meds make you super tired

Fun times this week dinner with friends and snagging some goodies for the holidays
