Hello!!

This has been such a crazy time for all of us!

Many of you have reached out asking about appointments as Governor Polis is starting to lift regulations regarding his "stay at home" order. I have been waiting to reply to a lot of you because there are still a ton of things that haven't been addressed in regards to re-opening.

DORA, who is our governing body when it comes to safety and sanitation, has been very quiet about how to go about doing our jobs once it is time to go back....it's almost as if the state has jumped the gun...

Here are my concerns. I am in a shared space with 2 other stylist's. The days of double booking and working at the same time as my co-workers are gone (for now). Also, Have you tried shopping with a mask on? Imagine doing that for hours on end while physically working and standing in front a blow dryer? (Thank you to all my nurses, Dr's and NP's...I have a whole new respect for your work attire). Not to mention cleaning and sanitizing everything we have both touched once the service is over...can we even get Clorox wipes anywhere?

Also, I have to literally stand over you and your face when I wash your hair...is that sanitary when this virus is an airborne virus?!?! Ugh...so much to think about and NO guidance from our governing authorities. With ALL of that being said, here is what I am asking from you....

🙏 Patience while we figure all of this out as we venture into what is known as our "new normal".
🙏 Patience while I figure out how to keep everyone involved safe
🙏 Patience. If I can't get you in right away because my schedule is going to look very different now.
🙏 Patience while I figure out how to keep my sanity while doing all of the above....

We are in this together.

What I refuse to do is put you, myself or my family in harms way. I refuse to be a guinea pig while they figure out how not to have our economy crash. I refuse to let us be the reason that the curve re spikes.

I have decided to not open my salon until at least the middle of May. I will re-assess as the time gets closer. As of now, all appointments that are scheduled for the beginning of May are cancelled and I will be reaching out to you to reschedule when I feel certain I can go back to work safely and not put you or myself at risk.

I will still be offering root touch up kits so you can at least keep your roots colored during this craziness!

It looks like salons will be opening soon, however the specific guidelines for reopening have not been announced. I also have not heard from Sola when they will allow us back into our studios. As I know more, I will keep you updated. I will also start reaching to get everyone rescheduled as I know more. Thank you for your patience! I’ll see you soon!

Hello beautiful clients of mine!

I hope you are all staying healthy and safe and enjoying your down time.

I am working on putting together at home root color kits to get everyone through until we can see each other again. This would be root color only and ideal for covering grey or just roots in general. I’ll include a brush and a video to show you how to use it. Let me know if you are interested!

I am sad to say all Hair Salons have been closed until the end of April. My studio is included in this. I have closed my salon and will be re opening May 1st, 2020.

For anyone that has appointments in April, I’ll start reaching out next week to get you all rescheduled to May.

I know this is a crazy time for all of us. I also know that there is always opportunity in challenges and we will find the opportunity!
