As this week comes to a close, I am flooded with so many emotions. Thank you all for making this journey meaningful in ways that goes far beyond the work itself. This business began as a passion project and a Hail Mary—a way for me to live for today instead of dreaming of tomorrow. It gave me purpose. After burying myself in the work I found me again. As hard as it is to let go in a weird way I’m ready to.

I have enjoyed every moment of designing the perfect brows for my beautiful clients. I loved my shop and every ounce of me went into designing and dreaming it. I’m a little sad I’m closing my doors.

I’m grateful it’s not goodbye. It’s just see ya later.

Dear Friends:

After sincere thought and consideration, I’ve decided to set my sights on new goals and have decided to permanently close my doors at the end of July, 2021. Sadly, the business no longer aligns with changes in my personal life and the direction I wish to go. I have always prioritized my education above all else because I strive be the best skincare professional I can be. I’m not ready to disclose what my plans are just yet because there’s still many unknown variables but in efforts to squash any potential rumors I will say that I am not closing the door on esthetics. I will remain in Wausau but unfortunately due to the transition I will be unable to continue performing lashes, microblading, facials etc., for an unknown amount of time. This decision was not made lightly. It’s one I’ve been chewing on since the beginning of this year and have made every effort possible to circumvent closure. I had hoped to transfer ownership to 1 or 2 talented ladies but unfortunately the timing just wasn’t working out for anyone I approached. 😕

After smashing through some tough obstacles post covid, experiencing changes in my personal life and well-being and everything in between, I began recognizing signs and patterns personally and professionally that supported the notion that the juice simply wasn’t worth the squeeze. My direction as well as my perspective evolved and subsequently feel that my decision is both a strategic and a personal one and therefore the right one.

What to expect between now and end of July:
I disabled the online scheduling system because I would like to schedule appointments based on need and priority. There’s a few microblade clients that I would like to give the option of 1 last refresher to (for awhile at least) before closing my doors. I will be reaching out those people personally.
Gift Certs: I know there’s a few out there. This is top priority. If you have a gift certificate you would like to redeem please connect with me ASAP so we can get you taken care of.
All other appointments currently on the books for the month of July can stay on the books. There will be no changes. : ) The remaining spots will be FCFS until July is booked.

MICROBLADE PEEPS: Since I started Microblading in 2017, A LOT of talented gals have joined the scene and picked up the craft. Many of whom I would recommend in a heartbeat. I realize it’s scary trusting a new person with your brows but just know there are several talents out there that blow my mind with how artistic and capable they are. I am not closing the door on Microblading either. I’m just taking a break to focus on other goals and aspirations. [This is where I start crying 😭] You guys have taught me so much about myself. This journey would not have been possible without you. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful faces and allowing me to be a part of giving you a piece of yourself back. It was always about so much more than just brows. ♥ THANK You with my whole heart. 🙏 I cannot wait for the day that I get to tell you one of you to clench your butt cheeks again.

Lastly, I doubt he’ll ever see this but thank you Rich for being the most reasonable, understanding and attentive landlord a business owner could ask for. I appreciate you so much. These 4 walls felt like home.

Thank you all for the support, words of encouragement and joy you all have brought into my life. I’m walking away with people I can proudly call friends and more confidence and strength then I knew I possessed. Thanks to you I learned what I was truly made of. 💪 This journey would not be possible without you.
