Yesterday, I had the honor of watching my stepmom Natasha be recognized as one of Connecticut Hall of Change’s 2026 Great 8 inductees. 👑
It was so inspiring to hear stories from people who changed their lives and then chose to wake up every day and pour back into the same communities where they once struggled in. Growing up in Bridgeport CT, I too know what it’s like to come from very little and have success feel out of reach.
As a Latina business owner building my own story, watching my stepmom receive this honor made me incredibly proud as she is proof that the odds may not always be in our favor, but our beginnings do not have to determine our endings. 🤍
