RF microneedling (radiofrequency microneedling) is a skin treatment that combines two things: tiny needles and heat energy to improve your skin from the inside out.
Here’s how it works:
A device with very fine needles creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin (similar to traditional microneedling). At the same time, it delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy deep into the dermis (the layer where collagen lives). That heat stimulates collagen and elastin production much more powerfully than microneedling alone.
A numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel pressure with some heat rather than pain. Treatments typically take about 30–60 minutes depending on the area.
Downtime:
You can expect some redness, mild swelling, and possibly tiny pinpoint marks for 1–3 days. Most people are back to normal pretty quickly.
Results:
You may notice some initial glow within a week, but the real results build over several weeks as collagen increases. A series of treatments is usually recommended for best results.
