📣 A Friendly Reminder from Turning Heads

I am a 1 person shop at the moment, so please take a moment to read and understand how this affects a small business.

We truly appreciate every client who chooses to book with us, and we do our best to reserve appointment times specifically for you. Unfortunately, we have recently experienced an increase in no-call, no-show appointments, and we need to address how this affects our salon.

When an appointment is booked, that time is set aside specifically for that client. When someone does not show up or call to cancel, we may have already turned away walk-ins or told other clients that we were unavailable during that time. An empty appointment chair means lost income that a small business simply cannot recover.

We understand that emergencies happen and plans can change. All we ask is that if you cannot make your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so we have an opportunity to offer that time to someone else.

We truly do not want to reach the point where we have to require a credit card on file or a deposit for every appointment, but continued no-call, no-shows may make a stricter booking policy necessary.

Please remember that when you book an appointment with a small business, you aren't just reserving a time slot. You're reserving someone's time and livelihood.

Thank you to all of our wonderful clients who show up, communicate with us, and continue to support Turning Heads Salon. We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
