Meet Sarah Haskins!

Sarah is an Aesthetician at Flora, and back when Flora also had Sugar Spa, she worked as a nail tech. She got into skincare thanks to a suggestion from her sister! After returning home to Pennsylvania following 11 years of military service, Sarah wasn’t sure what career path to take, but she quickly discovered her ability to adapt to almost anything. She loves connecting with her clients on a human level, helping them achieve their skincare goals, and building meaningful relationships with her coworkers.

Her motto is: “No one is policing this!” She firmly believes that you can do anything you want, whenever you want—no one is policing your career choices, hobbies, or the age at which you pursue them. Over the years, she’s gone from being a waitress, to a Criminal Investigator in the Army, to a fitness instructor and aerial acrobat performer, to a nail tech, and now an aesthetician. At 43, she’s embarking on her latest adventure: pursuing a degree in Social Neuroscience and Psychology. Fascinated by the human condition and the mind-body connection, Sarah proves that no matter how radical a life pivot may seem, you can absolutely go for it!

Meet Victoria Mikita, Aesthetician at Flora Spa & Aesthetic Bar! Victoria has been at Flora since April of 2022, starting right out of beauty school. Amber took a chance on her fresh out of school and taught her everything, truly! Victoria credits so much of her success as an aesthetician to Amber. For her, the most rewarding part of the job is creating a safe space for clients and having them open up to her, it means so much to her.

Before pursuing aesthetics, Victoria studied journalism and public relations at Clarion University. She always thought she would end up working for a newspaper or online blog, but after college, she went into sales and recruiting instead. She quickly realized the corporate world felt like a box she didn’t fit in, she wanted something more fulfilling and more “her.”

Outside of work, Victoria spends time with her new puppy, Pocco, her friends, and her boyfriend. She also loves to binge-watch a good series or curl up with a great book.
