Telltale signs your hair is due for a gloss refresh—

FADING: dullness, aka loss of vibrancy, and/or tonal shift from cool to warm on previously toned hair.

BRASSINESS: unwanted warmth peaking through, even if warmth is the goal, there’s a fine line between controlled warmth vs brass.

INCREASED POROSITY: hair may feel rougher in texture, aka not shiny or smooth, likely caused by excessive heat or tension, which may lead your hair to look uneven/patchy.

PRO TIP⭐️ glossing, toning, glazing, demi permanent color all refer to the same service. It’s just different and/or preferred terminology! Any excessive heat, chemical processing (especially bleaching), over washing, and/or low grade homecare products that are alcohol or harsher chemical based will ALL cause your gloss to fade. Glosses lay on the outer cuticle of the hair and are recommended to be refreshed every 6-10 weeks. And YES, clear glosses are a thing ✨
