We are thrilled to announce that in ONE WEEK we'll be hosting James Goldsmith and his gallery in our Downtown Wheaton studio!
James is a long-time Wheaton resident, an avid traveler, and a dedicated nature photographer with a primary focus on avian wildlife.
This collection highlights featured works captured across U.S. National Parks and local wilderness preserves, with an emphasis on the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. As an active volunteer at the Arboretum, James spent extensive time documenting local species, culminating in his 2025 publication, "100 Birds of the Morton Arboretum".
Recently we delivered another large Family Memory Archive! This family was a delight to work with and we enjoyed turning their chaos into beautiful family memories.
We started with their physical photos, scanning their 12,000 images and storing them in archival storage, saving 80% of space! We then curated their digital collection from 150,000+ images down to 30,000, tagging every photo by date so that their memories were safe, searchable, and shareable.

At Chaos to Memories we go to great lengths to save your memories! This week we had a video tape that was stuck inside an older video camera. It took some work but we were able to save the tape and preserve the memories inside! We love finding new and creative ways to do this job.

Our Downtown Wheaton studio is busy this week with multiple Family Memory Archives in progress; including photo restorations, film reel digitization, and audio conversions. The Chaos to Memories team is full of professionals who love what they do and look forward to meeting you and helping you navigate your Chaos!
Our studio is open weekdays from 10am-5pm at 122 N Hale Street in the heart of Downtown Wheaton.
We’re very excited about a few large Family Memory Archives we delivered this week! First up was a family with more than 40,000 physical photos and almost 300 video tapes. We got to know the family and their story so well and shared some special moments with them when delivering their completed archive.
