On average, people spend 24 hours in a year in my chair. While its significantly less than you spend with family and friends, thats still an entire day! We get to know each other, share life stories and happenings, laugh, cry, and everything in between. I hear about your work, friends, family.. the good and the bad(and whats said in the chair stays there 😉) I absolutely love the connection I have with my clients. Just today, I had a woman whose husband(who is also a long time client) just suffered a serious stroke. She emailed me to see if there was any way I could just wash her hair today. We talked about him of course, but also just about life. For those 30 minutes, she was able to just be a person and exist in my space in whatever way she needed. She got the best scalp massage of her life, and left with clean, styled hair. Did I cry when she left? Absolutely. While we may not be family, I hold all of my clients close to my heart and cherish those 24 hours a year. For the good and the bad, I am here for you and to give you hair you love so you can spend the other 364 days of the year feeling good about yourself 🥰

I will always love a split color moment 😍 the entire process is so satisfying for me to do. And to keep your vivid color looking its best for as long as it can, here's my top 3 "rules" for vivids!

🥶 Your hair is now the equivalent of that brand new bright red t-shirt. When you wash it, cold water with like colors, right? Same goes for your hair! The colder the water you wash with, the less fade you'll get.

🧴The more you shampoo, the more it fades. They typically last about 15 washes, so keep that in mind before you choose the vivid life if you wash your hair every day. Less shampoo= more longevity!

🥳 Enjoy the fade! Every time you do wash and use heat, your hair will fade. I do my best to make sure your formula will have the ability to fade pretty, so embrace it! Its going to happen regardless, and as long as you do your part at home you should still get compliments on it up to your next appointments!

Amy is one of my best friends. And? One of my most challenging clients for the last 16 years 😅(I say that with love) Shes a natural red head, who, as most gingers do, has "browned out" as shes gotten older. She has finer hair that will become compromised if I push it. She loves her red, but also LOVES seeing dimension and blonde. This session, she originally wanted to go very blonde. I wasn't very comfortable with the potential damage, so we compromised.(semi reluctantly from her, but I knew she'd be more upset if her hair broke off). I added some blonde, brought her red back to life and gave her a conditioning treatment. And the result is just *🤌🤌*

After living her vivid color fantasy, this beauty was ready for a change- but not just any change. She wanted something more natural, while still being unique.

She showed me an inspo of a chocolate brown where the pink was. Instead of putting her hair through it trying to remove the pink, I used the pink as the "red" for the warmth I needed, and added golden brown tones to create this stunning 2 toned brunette! Natural never has to be boring!
