Hi everyone, as many of you know, I am planning to have an anniversary celebration for my 20 years in business. Originally it was going to be on Saturday June 10th, however, sadly I lost my mom on May 16th and there will be a lot that needs to happen in the month of June. So I will be postponing that anniversary open house until July 22nd. But it is definitely still going to happen. Just giving myself a little time. So you all should still expect to see an invitation soon, just not as soon as I originally planned. Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown me in this difficult time❤️

Second highlight for Miss Liz!

Well, we’d done the solid dark brown for a little while and Liz decided she wanted to go back to her natural color. So, being advised that she probably couldn’t (and shouldn’t) do it all in one visit, she decided on some highlights. So I did a LOT of ‘em, using a combo of classic foil weave and balayage techniques. Looks pretty awesome to me, and I think she likes it too!

Keeping on growing out that color from the involuntary quarantine outgrowth: former level 5 brown grown halfway out and blended away with extreme highlights and Shades EQ toner. Looks lovely to me!

Hi everyone! So now it looks like we’re staying home for the rest of May. I have started rescheduling appointments for June, as some of you may know already. I’m basically going in order of how everyone was previously scheduled, with extra time allotted for each person so that I may take extra care in sanitizing between each appointment. As most of you know, I generally don’t double book myself anyway, but appointments will be one at a time in order to maintain a little bit of social distancing. Also, I know we are all going to need extra time getting our services done since our hair will have been growing unchecked (and for some, uncolored) for two and a half months or more. So, your patience is greatly appreciated with regard to getting you back into the salon. I also realize that some of you probably have done some of your own cutting and or coloring and that’s ok- just try to let me know when I book your appointment so I can allow enough time and have the right color products on hand. I am so looking forward to seeing all of you again! Stay healthy and be safe!❤️

As you’ve all probably heard, governor Pritzker has extended the stay at home order to 4/30. I’m sad to say that I must temporarily close up shop and stay home. I believe we’re all going to be ordered to really soon anyway, but regardless I feel like I have to do what I can to help stop the spread of this awful virus. I’ll be out until Tuesday 4/7, and then hopefully I can get back to doing some hair- but we all just have to see how this thing goes.
