Let’s talk about it.

The first pic shows the nails with just the color and top coat removed. This is about 3.5 weeks of regrowth. You can see where her nails grew out with the line of gel above her cuticles.
The second pic I have smoothed out that line and reduced the apex.
You can see her natural nails here 👀
(When getting your nails done take a look at your natural nails during this step. Your natural nails should be free of divots or peeling and should be a whitish pinky color. You don’t want to see indentations or redness in your nails.)
Last pic is of the finished manicure. I used a n**e tinted base to build her apex back up for proper support since we are still growing these out. I finished with my favorite top coat, Ultra Glossy from and some cuticle oil, ofc!

We call this manicure a Structured gel manicure at Frederick’s, this process can also sometimes be referred to as builder gel or a gel overlay

The french tip manicure is a timeless and classic manicure style. ✨
It’s loved for its clean aesthetic but also for its smooth grow out.

Because we use a sheer or n**e base you’re less likely to notice your polish growing out than if you were to have a bold color.
But a French tip manicure doesn’t have to be just bright white! 🌈🎨

We had a heartbreak in the nail studio today 💔

We’ve been growing out these long beautiful nails throughout winter, with structured gel manicures every two weeks.
Now that winter is over these hands will be working in the gardens. We hated to do it, but we had to cut them down to a more functionable length. 😭

We will still continue keeping up with regular structured gel manicures, we will just cut her length down each appointment to maintain this length during this season. 💕
