A little peak into our thoughts as we move into the sauna season. A great time for us to reflect on why we are doing this before the busy season is upon us! A bit of what’s keeping the stove lit, if you will.

Another part of the TLC for our sauna this fall is removing old, deteriorated rocks from the stove and replacing them with new ones.
Over time, the rocks become brittle and settle leaving less space for air in between them. That space is critical to help heat up the hot room and gives us that awesomeness löyly!
