Twenty years ago, I embarked on a transformative journey, stepping into freshman year at PHS and seizing the opportunity to join the cosmetology program. Fast forward to senior year, I was one of only two students who had earned the required 1500 hours to take the licensing exam. Today, I'm thrilled to be experiencing the rewards of taking a chance. We've all faced tough decisions and moments of uncertainty, but it's how we respond that matters. Last year, I faced one of my greatest challenges, but instead of giving up, I reached out and discovered my salon family. It's a powerful reminder that every obstacle presents an opportunity for growth and transformation.
