It was such a treat to work with someone like Linda, she and her bridal party were so easygoing and sweet! We started makeup at 5:00am that morning to have everyone ready for an 11am Vietnamese tea ceremony. It was a super HOT long day and she had three outfit changes so I knew the makeup had to be long wearing and comfortable. We wanted something muted in tone but we needed it to be enough so she didn’t feel washed out going from a red to white dress. We kept it soft with pinks and browns, custom lashes for that lift on the eyes and of course we layered all of our creams and powders for long-wear. Her skin is perfect and I had zero notes on her skincare journey leading up to her wedding!

✨STUNNINNGGGG!!! Cameron knew exactly what she wanted and she knew how to convey that to me during her trial. She wanted warmth, sculpted, fresh and wearable, neutral tones on the eyes, custom individual lashes for lift and an overall sheen throughout the face and body. I’m not one for a super bright under-eye or “baking” on the face, it’s rare if you see me apply powder with a puff, brush application only for me, so I pulled out all of the mineralized powders and liquid highlights to achieve the look. I wanted the body to match the face, I don’t reach for the standard body sheens on the market I always cocktail a variety of balms and oils for the body so I can control how and where I want the shine to live! What do we think!?

I LOVED working with this gal, she and her sisters the morning of the wedding were SO fun! She’s so beautiful and has the best skin, she recently found out she has ETR (vascular rosacea) which is more common than you’d think. She now has that under control with a topical treatment, so not much correction was needed. She is a self proclaimed “tom boy”, and was a bit nervous about wearing too much makeup. I assured her that I would have keep everything lightweight and soft, her only request was to play up her eyes, which we did and I added individual lashes which I customized for volume. I focused on calming skincare with tons of hydration, I knew she could handle that beneath her base makeup. Jet black gel liner on inner, upper and lower water lines, with a bit of soft pink and cool browns on the lids for dimension, a brighter pop of color on the cheeks with the new Armani cream to powder blushes, warm skin with mineralized bronzers, and a slightly overlined lip with a brown rose!

🫶🏼🫶🏼I loved getting to know this beautiful gal, she’s so sweet, thoughtful and she was so open to letting me do my thing! After the trial we decided we needed more warmth and fuller coverage for her humid July wedding, easy changes but we still needed a plan to achieve the look. We wanted that fuller coverage and brightness but we needed it to be wearable, & we wanted to maintain that “skin-like” finish. How did I do that? I did an all over foundation application with The Luminous Silk and Estée Lauder Double Wear, then I spot concealed and brightened up the under eye with the Surratt concealer trio. I melted in her liquid Nars blushes with the Saie gel bronzer, those textures and a wet beauty blender really create that freshness. I love what we achieved and she was so so happy!

I loved working with this gal, even if it was for only 2 hours! No trial done, we actually met the morning of her wedding, however we did a Zoom call a few months ago and I asked all of the questions and went over her aesthetic, and skincare regimen. She wanted to do a whole look, and she’s not scared of fuller coverage and eyeliner so we really went for it. The humidity was against us in the bridal suite so we had to just go with it, I powdered at the end and made sure touch ups were perfect. A micro wedding turned in to a full blown wedding by the end of her planning process, everything turned out so beautifully and I loved getting to do a super fun look🫶🏼

I mean, have you ever, Cami is a VISION! She is such a sweet & thoughtful gal, and that played out throughout her planning process and the morning of. She is a black winged girly everyday & we wanted to stick with that look but make it more bridal. We really focused on warmth and techniques that allowed her beautiful skin to be the focus! She lives outside of DC and had been working with her Esti for months leading up to the wedding, my only recommendation per usual was to “hydrate” and “pause all retinols” two weeks prior!
