It's been a LONG time...let's talk about it.

As most of you know, I sold a skincare business. Things went south, and messy lawyer stuff happened. I won, and I got the right to use my intellectual property in any way I wanted to. So, I hurriedly launched my tried-and-true and fan-favorite products so that my customers, whom I worked like a dog to gain, wouldn't be without their stuff.
That went very well on the website and inside The Cake Box, but it became clear that it was still super confusing to people. Then I started getting complaints and comments about products bought under the other name because they thought it was still me, which scared me. I worked so hard, and I'm still working hard to keep my name on the up and up.

So, I decided to lay low a little bit. I still sell in the shop and online, but I haven't really talked too much. But now it's summer, and there are a few more must-have products, and we've got a really exciting update for one of our tried-and-true products, too!

First, our deodorant. Listen, I know I sold and hyped the container, and I like it a lot for CERTAIN things. But armpits aren't one of them. I don't know why exactly; maybe it's some long-term muscle memory thing, but it needed another option.
So, all scents are now available in small roll-up containers!

Second, spray lotion. This was an absolutely amazing product! But it had an issue: the sprayers clogged badly. Now, this magical elixir is in a cosmetic-grade continuous pump bottle. It is available in three scents and feels like a dream.

Third, bug spray. Y'all already know, and if you don't, this stuff is as good as DEET sprays, all natural, and smells great. This is a limited run. It is available in full size and travel size.

Finally, a fun little shimmer stick that is also a pretty good moisturizer. It's basically our SOS stick with some added sparkle and bronzey colors. Plus, the label is so sparkly and gorg!!

All of these products launch tomorrow afternoon. Online and in-store (inside the cake box)

After our first full week of being back, I wanted to thank all of you for the orders! I’m so glad it seems most of you have figured out how to get your favorite products, and that is all I needed!

We had a LOT of orders and I’m happy to say they are all out and shipped except for the ones that have come in today.

The products that we launched with are our mainstays, but don’t worry, we are planning monthly drops of seasonal things that we’ve heard you want.

I CANNOT believe the response to the launch of our site today! I expected a few orders, but nothing like what we got! Even the old fans from tik tok have found us (I’m so glad I have that old fb page to help spread the word!), and of course a lot of our local friends too!
Please continue to share the news that we’ve rebranded and we are back in business.

We had over 7k website visitors today and orders from all of the states in the pic! I’m thankful for my main squeezes, Cedar and Mike for all the help this evening getting things packed.

All local orders received by 4pm today will be available for pickup in the cake box tomorrow.
Shipped orders will go out tomorrow because it is cool, but once it gets warm, we will only ship on Mondays to avoid boxes sitting in hot places over the weekend.

Today is the day!
After 9 long months of dealing with the terrible business desicion I made last year of selling the brand that Sophie and I put our hearts and bodies into, we are back today!

The site is done but I’ll be honest, it needs some more tweaks astetically. It is fully set up for ordering though and I can’t wait for you to see what I’ve been working on the last two months.
