Do I always get the big yawns? The short answer is no, not always! Horses all process their massages differently so if your horse isn't yawning it doesn't mean they are not enjoying it or benefitting tremendously from the massage. Is it still one of the cutest expressions? Absolutely. 💜 Bonus points when the horse is named Cletus. I cannot deal with the cuteness of this name!!!

Hello to all my lovely clients, I will not be massaging horses outside my home barn until further notice.
But- I am here for you! If your horse is having an issue and needs some support, I am available via a phone call/text/facetime. I can even get some kinesiology tape to you with instructions.
Thank you for your understanding. The health and safety of our ponies is the most important thing. I will be taking the time to start some continuing education, I look forward to seeing you again hopefully very soon with more tools and knowledge to help your ponies feel their absolute best.

Do you know what the number one thing you can do to help your horse between massages is?
Hint: you should already be doing it every day you visit your horse, riding or not.
The secret not so secret thing: grooming!!
All you need is a rubber curry and some elbow grease. Your arm should be tired! This will help increase your horse's circulation (which has more benefits than I can list) and if you listen, your horse will tell you what areas might be sore, stiff, or in need of some attention.
