Aquinas Touch
Licensed Massage Therapist with 10+ years of experience in pain and stress management through manual therapy.
Our therapist utilize evidence-based reasoning working hands on with clients to help you meet your short and long term health and wellness goals.
Out of the office today thanks to a weather-related migraine, therefore I’ll be taking the day to get some bodywork myself (shout out to Liz for getting me in) and a much-needed rest/reset day. I’ll be back in the office Friday ready to help you!
Weather changes can be rough on the body — especially for headaches, migraines, joint pain, and old injuries. Massage can help by reducing muscle tension, improving range-of-motion, and calming the nervous system during those pressure and temperature swings.
I do have two last-minute openings available this week:
• Friday at 4:00 PM — 1 hour session
• Saturday at 10:30 AM — 1 hour session
If your body has been feeling the effects of the weather lately, this is a good time to get ahead of it before it turns into a bigger flare-up.

If the changing weather 🌧️⛈️ and incoming storms have your joints feeling stiff, achy, or inflamed, you’re definitely not alone, mine are cranky as well. Sudden pressure changes can aggravate joint pain, headaches, and old injuries. It’s a good reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s part of staying functional 💆♀️✨

Let’s talk about cupping. Have you experienced cupping before?
Cupping works differently than traditional massage. Instead of compressing tissue, it gently lifts and decompresses it — which can create powerful changes in how the body feels and moves.
Benefits can include:
• Improved circulation
• Reduced muscle tension
• Faster recovery
• Increased range of motion
• Nervous system relaxation
• A feeling of “lightness” in the tissue
But here’s the important part: Cupping isn’t used on everyone.
I believe your session should always customized. That might include:
✔ Cupping
✔ Warm bamboo
✔ Gua sha
✔ Focused therapeutic work
✔ Warm towels
All of these are already included in your session because your care should be effective, not complicated.
