The biggest skincare mistake I see isn’t using the wrong product.

It’s changing everything too often.

A new cleanser.
A new serum.
A new exfoliant.
A new treatment.
Then another one because the first one “isn’t working.”

Your skin needs consistency and time.

If we’re constantly changing the variables, it’s nearly impossible to know what’s actually helping.

Find a routine that makes sense for your skin.

Stick with it.

Then adjust strategically when your skin tells us it’s time.

If I’ve learned anything after years in this industry, it’s that more doesn’t always mean better. 🤍

There will always be a new viral product, another “must-have” ingredient, or a treatment promising faster, stronger results.

But I don’t want to recommend just for the sake of doing more.

I’d rather invest in:
✨ products that serve a purpose
✨ a routine that works together instead of competing
✨ treatments that respect the skin barrier and support long term results

Your skin doesn’t need everything. It needs the right things, in the right order, at the right time.

That’s the approach I’ll always stand behind: less noise, more intention, better skin.

There’s a lot of skincare advice out there and honestly, some of it needs to stay in the past.

I’m all for effective skincare, but I’m not interested in doing the most just because we can.

Healthy skin is about balance, consistency and resilience.

So before you add another product to your routine because the internet told you to… pause. Ask yourself what your skin actually needs. A consultation with your esthetician will always be your best option 🤍

Your skin isn’t the only thing that benefits from slowing down. 🤍

A facial can be a moment to regulate your nervous system, too. The warmth, gentle touch, intentional breathing, soothing environment, and uninterrupted time to simply be can help shift you out of “go mode” and into a state of rest.

Because sometimes the best thing you can do for your skin is… nothing.

Just breathe. Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders. Let yourself be cared for.

Skincare is the treatment, but feeling safe enough to slow down is part of the experience.
