Had a challenging color correction today but I made it my B**** 😮‍💨🔥

I did a shampoo cap to strip off that permanent color. As you can see she had a lot of banding and so many uneven colors throughout her hair. If you don’t know what a shampoo cap is let me explain…

A shampoo cap is a mild lightening or color-removal method where you mix lightener, shampoo, and developer to gently lift or soften the color.. it’s an extra step to the color service but I promise your lightning session will go so much smoother! Especially if you’re dealing with a canvas like my client’s before..

We still have a few more sessions to get to her desired blonde but I am obsessed with the outcome of her hair today 🤩🤩

✨ I’m finally BACK behind the chair! ✨
After being away for a little over 10 months 😱 I’m beyond excited to return to doing what I love most.. coloring hair and making you feel beautiful

🗓️I will now strictly be working Saturdays only.
❌ I will not be accepting new clients at this time. My goal is to make sure my loyal clientele are able to book without having to wait months.
💲 Due to inflation, there will be a price increase.
💳 Deposits are still required, and moving forward, no-shows will be automatically banned from booking.

I cannot thank you all enough for your patience, loyalty, and love while I’ve been away. I know one day a week may not seem like much, but right now, my two babies still need me. I am choosing to put my kids and family first before my career, and I feel so blessed to have the chance to do both in the ways I can.

I also have to say how truly blessed and grateful I am for my husband, who has allowed me to stay home with our babies for as long as I’ve needed. He honestly doesn’t even want me going back yet, but I’m returning for my own sanity, mental health, and because I truly miss doing hair and my clients so much. Doing hair has always been my little escape from the real world, and I’m so happy to have that piece of me back.

I hope this crazy schedule of mine will work out for everyone. If it doesn’t, please know I sincerely apologize and mean it from the bottom of my heart when I say it means the world to me to have such loyal clients who always wait for me and work with whatever schedule I throw at them. You’re the reason I can come back and do this. 💕

‼️ LONG POST AHEAD ‼️

I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries asking if I know when I will be back.. I’ve had you guys waiting because I didn’t have an answer for you all.. but I do now..

After a lot of back and forth with my fiancé, we’ve decided that the best thing for our family right now is for me to stay home with our babies. Until Lyla is at least 1 year of age. With a 4-month-old and a 1-year-old, these moments are so precious, and I want to be fully present, help them grow, guide them, and soak in this time while they’re still so little.

As much as I miss being behind the chair, we know this is the right choice for us. It’s definitely bittersweet because doing hair is such a huge part of me, and I hate stepping away, even if it’s just for a little while. I’m not sure what this will mean for my clientele or what things will look like once I’m ready to come back, but I truly hope to see all of you in my chair again when the time comes. For now, I’m embracing this season of life and hoping to return stronger than ever when the time is right.

I also have to take a moment to acknowledge how truly blessed I am to have a husband who can lead and provide for our family. He works so hard to make sure that we are taken care of, and because of him, we are able to pay our mortgage, bills, and everything our household needs without struggling. I don’t take that for granted for a second, and I’m beyond grateful that his hard work allows me to stay home with our babies during this important time in their lives. I love you forever mi amor ❤️

With that being said, I can’t even begin to express how much I miss all of my amazing clients. The laughter, the tears, the chisme.. we’ve shared so many moments together, and I cherish every single one of them. Not being behind the chair truly makes me sad, and I hate that I have to make you all wait for me yet again. I’m so sorry for that, and I just hope that when I do come back, you’ll still be there, ready to sit in my chair and catch up like no time has passed. I appreciate every one of you more than you know, and I can’t wait for the day I get to do what I love again with all of you.

I am so excited, scared, and nervous for this new journey in my life! I’m literally going to have 2 babies under 2.. God is definitely testing my patience 😅😭

With that being said… I will not be replying to any messages that have to do with work… I am still getting a lot of inquires for hair appointments and people wanting an exact date on when I will be back.. unfortunately I do not know when I will be back. Please be patient with me. At this time I will be focusing on my babies and my family only! Thank you for understanding and always supporting me and my work ❤️ As much as I will miss doing hair I want to take advantage of this time away to create memories with my family and raise my babies to be the best versions of themselves 🫶🏻

My favorite month! Why? Because not only is it my birthday month! But it’s my anniversary with my fiancé! We will be 12 years on the 30th! And now October is even more special to me because next year on October 25,2025 is when I will be saying
“I DO” 💍 to my soul mate ❤️‍🔥

With that being said.. I just wanted to remind you all that I am FULLY BOOKED for the month of October! My last day of working behind the chair will be October 24th!
I do not know when I will be back from maternity leave! Once I am on maternity leave I will not be responding to any messages! I want to focus my time on being a full time mom and enjoying these moments with my kids while I can!
Once I am back from maternity leave I will let everyone know!
