Sadie the Hair Slayer

🖤 I’ve had some new followers rolling in, so I figured it would be a good time to introduce myself! Hi! I’m Sadie of of course.

🖤 One of the things I always point out about this industry is that yes there are tons of us creatives. All with varying skill levels and specialties. And our clients come to us not because we are perfect at what we do for them. No one’s perfect, we’re human beings. They come to us because they like us. They vibe with us.

💀 So here’s some fun facts about me if you’re wondering if we vibe:

💀 I am first and foremost a mom. I have two kids, and two fur babies, as well as a husband. 🤣

💀 I’m 29 years old but I was raised by a grandparent so I often find myself relating to those older than me. In fact that same grandparent owned a salon, so you could say I was always meant to do this.

💀 I am a huge horror fan. Chucky being my favorite franchise. In fact I currently own two Chucky dolls, and I’m on the hunt for Tiffany.

💀 I love all kinds of music, my favorite being classic metal and 90s rock. But that doesn’t stop me from taking it back to my childhood and enjoying some 90s country, or being in my girly pop mood and jamming to Taylor or Sabrina.

💀 Then there’s my favorite food. Mexican Food babe! Give me the salsa, the queso, the guac, the tamales, the enchiladas, etc. I want it all and I could eat it every single day. 🤣

💀For all my locals reading, I am not a Wichita native! Infact I’m not even a Kansas Native. I moved here from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2022 while dating my now husband.

💀 And then of course last but not least the reason you’re here. I’m a cosmo girlie! I went to and I finished my certificate at the end of 2019. Over time I fell into my specialties. I did one vivid right out of school and then I did another and another and it just became my thing. Then as a loctician I was mentored by one at the first salon I ever worked at and fell in love with it.

Y’all I’m gonna be honest. April was rough. This current economy and regime is putting a damper on things, as I’m sure it is for everyone else. Unfortunately like keeps moving, so we keep hustling.

🖤 We reached the finish line on Devon’s full head install of natural dreads yesterday!

💀 She came in every 3 weeks until we completed it, and we did a total of 13 hours of install across this time. Her hair was not short but not extremely long either, and she wanted LONG so we did just that by adding human hair as we went. She chose red and then some fun honey blonde to finish it up.

🔪 Everyone’s journey looks different. You can come see me 3 or 4 days in a row and we can get it done. You can space it out financially and come in every paycheck. I offer a maximum of 6 hours per install session but clients typically prefer no longer than 4. I offer this service in sessions because well you don’t want to sit there for 13 hours and I certainly don’t want to stand there for that long.
