Trying to find the words to send this beauty off has been harder than I thought. This one is a BIG loss, and I truly can’t wrap my head around the fact that I won’t be seeing her every day.

Jessica has been there for me quite literally every single day — to lift me up, talk me through things, make me laugh, and help in any way she possibly could… because that’s just who she is. She even made a habit of making my towels and prepping my room for me every day. Never because she had to, but because she is constantly thinking about how she can make someone else’s day a little easier.

She has been with us since the very beginning of this Hazel + Honey journey and has played such a huge role in helping build this business from the ground up. So much of what she does happens behind the scenes — things people may never see, but we sure as heck FEEL.

Patients love her. Employees love her. Everyone loves Jessica. She has this way of making every person feel seen, cared for and important, and she always greets you with the most genuine smile.

I’m going to miss my Jessica more than I can put into words. My office manager, my sounding board, my safe place at work, and one of the best friends I’ve gained through this chapter of my life.

I’m so incredibly excited for what’s ahead for her, even if I selfishly wish we could keep her forever.

We may no longer be coworkers, but I gained one heck of a lifelong friend in this one.

These photos are 3 months apart after a series of SkinPen microneedling treatments, and I am SO happy with her results. Look at the improvement in her skin texture, firmness, fine lines, and overall glow.

A few things I wish every client knew before they ever laid on my table

Your skin doesn’t need perfection. It needs consistency.

I don’t expect you to know exactly what products to use, what treatment you need, or why your skin suddenly decided to lose its mind. That’s quite literally what I’m here for.

But I do need you to meet me halfway.

Use your homecare. Wear the SPF. Tell me what you’re actually putting on your face. Be patient with the process. And pleaseeee stop adding random products to your routine without telling me. 😂

Good skin is a partnership — what I do in the treatment room + what you do at home.

And one thing you never have to worry about? Me judging your skin. I’m way too busy figuring out how we’re going to make it better. ❤️

Soooo I did a thing…
Today I’m receiving my Level 1 Reiki certification

This feels a little vulnerable to share because it’s something I’ve been quietly exploring for a while. For months, I’ve felt a pull toward Reiki that I couldn’t really explain—just a feeling that I was supposed to learn more.

For the last 30+ days, I’ve been practicing, learning, and allowing myself to be a beginner. And the more I practice, the more I can feel my connection and abilities strengthening in ways that have been really special to experience.

I still have so much to learn, and I’m not entirely sure where this journey will take me—and I think that’s part of what makes it so exciting.

For now, I’m just grateful I listened to that little nudge and took the first step.

And a very special thank you to Heidi for her guidance, encouragement, and for so openly sharing this gift with me. I’m incredibly thankful to be learning from her and even more grateful to be on this journey alongside her.

Level 1 complete. The journey is just beginning. ✨
