The school calls: “Your child is sick” 📞 And I’m like… okay but is it emergency sick… or “I don’t feel like being at school” sick? 🤨 Because I’m mid gloss, mid head massage, and emotionally… I’ve already clocked out 😌✨ Do I love my child? Absolutely. Do I also love this fresh blowout and 45 minutes of silence? Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover this one. ✨ After so many seasons with us, in so many roles, we’re saying goodbye to one of our own as she heads to Austin. To know her is to love her, and to feel her impact in every corner of our space. She’s been a part of what makes Sugar, Sugar… and that doesn’t get replaced. We’re celebrating her the only way we know how… together. Join us at Newport Grill to send her off with love, laughter, and a proper goodbye. If you’ve ever visited our salon, you know and love Jocelyn… the warm, welcoming face at our Front Desk who has made every guest feel at home. 💕 We are excited to share that starting January 26, Jocelyn will be attending Paul Mitchel hair school to pursue her dream of becoming a hairstylist! ✂️We are SO proud of her and can’t wait to welcome her back later this year in her new role behind the chair here at Sugar. She’ll still be with us on Saturdays while she attends school (school permitting) so you’ll continue to see her smile here and there. 😊 With this exciting transition, we are now HIRING a new Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! ✨ We’re looking for someone who is: • Energetic, friendly & loves connecting with people • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Motivated, reliable, and a team player • Comfortable managing appointments, phones & guest check-ins 💼 What we offer: • Competitive pay for the right fit • Fun, supportive, positive team culture • Growth opportunities within the salon ➡️ Position start date: ASAP – ideally within the next 2 weeks so Jocelyn can participate in training ➡️ To apply: Send resume to [email protected], or drop it off in person at 513 N Woodlawn!
