Evergreen Skin Studio
20+ years in the treatment room. Holistic skin strategies. Expert brows. Coaching aestheticians to build aligned, thriving businesses-inside and out.
I first decided to become an aesthetician for one reason:
I had bad skin. That was in 2005…
I struggled with acne, hyperpigmentation, redness and very reactive skin. I learned along the way that there is a whole lot more to having healthy skin than just buying the right moisturizer or serum. Once I started taking care of my skin from the inside as well as the outside, things really started to cha
No two skin treatments should look exactly the same because no two skin conditions are exactly the same.
The Evergreen Facial is fully customized at every visit using the modalities and techniques that make the most sense for your skin that day. From deep cleansing and extractions to barrier support, LED, dermaplaning, or ultrasound hydration treatments, every detail is intentional

Your skin isn’t confused… it’s overworked.
I hear this all the time
“I don’t know what my skin needs”
“My skin is so unpredictable”
But when we look closer, it usually comes down to this:
• Too many products
• Switching routines too often
• Layering actives without a clear plan
• Not giving anything enough time to actually work
Your skin isn’t struggling because it’s complicated
It’s reacting because it’s overwhelmed
Healthy skin is built through consistency, not constant change
When you simplify your routine and stick with it, your skin can finally do what it’s designed to do
Repair, strengthen, and function properly
If your skin feels all over the place right now, it might not need more
It might just need a reset

If I could simplify your skincare routine, this is what I would focus on:
You don’t need 10 products
You need the right ones
A solid routine can be as simple as:
• A gentle cleanser
• One targeted serum
• A moisturizer that supports your barrier
• Daily SPF
That’s it
Everything else is optional
The real results come from using the right products consistently, not constantly adding more
Most of the skin issues I see aren’t from doing too little
They’re from doing too much, too often
If your routine feels overwhelming, take that as a sign to simplify
Your skin will almost always respond better to less, done well

If your skin feels puffy, reactive, or tired, this is one of the ways I help reset it.
Cooling + gentle stimulation = better circulation and calmer skin.

Spring is a great time to reset your skin… but not in the way most people think
You don’t need to start over
You just need to adjust
Here are a few simple shifts that make a big difference this time of year:
• Take a look at your exfoliation
If your skin feels sensitive or reactive, you may be doing too much
• Reevaluate your moisturizer
Not necessarily lighter, just appropriate for your skin right now
• Get consistent with SPF
More daylight = more cumulative exposure
The goal isn’t to do more
It’s to support your skin as the seasons change
Small, thoughtful adjustments always go further than a complete routine overhaul
If you’re not sure what your skin needs right now, this is something we can always look at together during your next appointment

A few things I’ve been loving in the treatment room lately…
These brushes might seem like a small detail, but they’re part of how I create a treatment that feels both effective and relaxing.
A soft, even application.
No tugging on the skin.
A more calming experience overall.
Over time I’ve learned that it’s often the small, thoughtful choices that make the biggest difference.
Not just in how a treatment feels…
but in how the skin responds.
Right now I’m especially focused on treatments that support the skin barrier, improve circulation, and work with the skin instead of against it.
Because healthy skin is built through consistency, not intensity.
If your skin has been feeling a little off lately, this is a great time to come in for a reset.

Antioxidants aren’t just a trend ingredient. They’re part of how we protect the skin long term.
I just shared a new blog post on how plant antioxidants support your skin both topically and through what you eat.
If you care about building stronger, more resilient skin, this one’s for you.

After more than 20 years in this industry, I’ve seen incredibly talented aestheticians struggle — not because they lack skill, but because they lack clear business foundations.
Rooted & Rising was created to help aestheticians slow down, reflect, and build a business that actually supports the life they want.
It’s not a course or a program.
It’s a guided workbook designed to help you think deeply about your business and where you want it to go.
Sometimes clarity is the most powerful tool we can give ourselves.

A quiet moment before the first client arrives.
Fresh linens.
Soft lighting.
Products ready.
These little rituals matter to me.
Creating a calm, welcoming space is part of the experience I want every client to feel when they walk into my treatment room. It’s a place to slow down, step away from the noise of the day, and focus on supporting the skin in a thoughtful, healthy way.
After more than 20 years in this profession, I still love these quiet moments of preparation before the day begins.
It reminds me how grateful I am to do work that helps people care for themselves.

Sometimes the hardest part of building a solo aesthetic practice isn’t talent.
Most aestheticians care deeply about their clients, invest in continuing education, and work incredibly hard.
But many of us were never really given a roadmap for how to build a sustainable business.
Over the years I started writing down the frameworks, reflection exercises, and strategies that helped me build a steady practice that I truly enjoy running.
Eventually those ideas became Rooted & Rising.
This workbook is designed as a guided journal for aestheticians who want to step back and strengthen the foundation of their business. Inside you’ll find exercises to help you clarify your vision, define your ideal client, refine your messaging, and build marketing strategies that feel authentic and sustainable.
The goal isn’t to chase trends or build a business that burns you out.
The goal is to build something that feels rooted, aligned, and capable of growing over time.
If you’re an aesthetician who’s ready to reconnect with your direction and strengthen your practice, this workbook was created for you.
You can explore the Rooted & Rising workbook through the link in my bio.
