Today, she came back to visit us again.
This time, there were no tears like before, and that already made our hearts so happy.

Maybe she is getting more comfortable with the salon, the people, and the environment around her. Today, she seemed a little quieter and not fully herself. We offered for her to sit in the spa chair so she could be more comfortable and enjoy the service, but she gently let us know that she only wanted to stay in her own chair.

So we followed her comfort. She stayed in her chair, and we sat on the floor to do her service right there for her.

This past Monday, a sweet client came to AuraLuxe Nails & Spa for her nail service. She needed extra help getting comfortable, and our team did everything we could to make sure she felt safe, cared for, and welcomed.

She asked me how much I make doing nails. I said, “$500.”
She thought I meant $500 a month and started trying to recruit me into her business. Then I told her, “No girl… $500 a day.”

Next thing I know, she turns around and says, “From now on, I’m doing YOUR nails. I’m your nail tech now.” 😂

So today she asked me, “What do you want?”
And I said, “I don’t know. That’s your job. When I do your nails, you never know either.” 💅
