We gave her hair a little spring refresh without using lightener.

I swapped out two of her darker wefts for dimensional ones to softly brighten her up.

By placing lighter wefts underneath, we’re able to create that “peekaboo” brightness you see when I lift the top layer, which helps the overall blonde feel lighter while still keeping depth and richness.

One hidden beaded row gave her the added thickness she wanted while keeping everything natural, airy, and beautifully blended.

Her natural cut wasn’t blunt, so a single row blended right in for the most seamless fullness with a little extra length. With this flip up you can see where her natural hair exists.

If you heat style your hair often, these are a few of my favorite habits that can really help keep your hair on the healthier side.

• A good heat protectant is always a must, it creates a barrier between your hair and your hot tools.

👉🏼 Lately, I’ve been loving Mane Ivy Hair Elixir Serum, Oligo Thermal Shield Spray, Goldie Locks Blow Dry Spray, and Heart of Glass Sheer Glaze for added protection and shine while styling. All are available in my studio and I can help you find your favorite combo at your next appointment.

• Lower heat settings can also make a bigger difference than you’d think. I recommend staying around 360°F, it’s enough to hold a curl and actually can hold a curl better than higher temperatures in my opinion.

• Deep Conditioning: Weekly treatments at home (plus the occasional in-salon treatment) can go a long way in supporting your hair between visits.
