Acne Awareness Month may be coming to an end, but the conversation doesn’t have to🧡

The difference you see here came from time, consistency, understanding what my skin needed, and using products that were right for my skin. I also had to make lifestyle changes, including adjusting my diet, because I realized healthy skin isn’t always just about what you put on your skin, it’s also about how you care for your body.

Acne is complex, and there’s rarely just one cause. Hormones, stress, lifestyle, diet, environment, genetics, activity level, and even the products you’re using can all influence your skin. That’s why what works for one person may not work for another.

As an esthetician, one of the biggest things I want people to understand is that healthy skin isn’t about perfection, it’s about learning your skin, being patient with the process, and finding what works for you.
