🧠 I realized I have been updating on my personal page and have not updated here, and have gotten a couple questions….

I am going to be on a bit of a break as I prepare, have, and recover from brain surgery. I can fill as many private orders as I can handle but I won’t be at markets as I had hoped to.

I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia last Fall. It has been a horrible experience that has deteriorated rapidly.

I have been seen by a neurosurgeon at Stanford. He is going to be performing MVD surgery (Microvascular Decompression) to relieve pressure on the nerve and make sure there aren’t other compressions. Basically, a hole will be drilled in my skull behind my ear. They will go in and find the compression. They place a type of sponge type material to separate the artery and nerve to prevent them from touching and further damage. They will check for any other compressions on other nerves/vessels and do the same if found. A type of bone cement will be used to seal the hole in my skull.

I will be going to California June 16th for surgery June 20th and I will be there for 7-10 days before flying home for the rest of my recovery.

While none of this is an ideal situation and it is saddening to me that this is so rare I have to go to California to get the help I need, I am beyond grateful for the amazing support system❤️

Dough bowls can be cleaned out once the candle is burned and the bowl can be repurposed, refilled, and reused!
