When you’re choosing a CO₂ laser treatment, the technology is important — but the person operating it matters just as much.

At Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness, we use the DEKA Tetra PRO, an advanced CO₂ platform that lets us adjust treatment intensity around your skin, your goals, and the amount of downtime you’re comfortable with.

That gives us two resurfacing paths. CoolPeel® is our lighter fractional ablative option, performed as a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with about 1–2 days of downtime after each session. Deeper Fractional Ablative CO₂ is a more intensive resurfacing treatment with approximately 3–10+ days of downtime and is generally performed as a single session when appropriate.

The provider is part of the treatment plan, too. Laser treatments should be performed by appropriately licensed providers with dedicated training in laser safety, skin assessment, treatment selection, and the specific technology being used. Our providers are licensed and have completed specialized laser training because patient selection, settings, treatment depth, and aftercare all influence the experience.
