Well it is that time of year again when cows are pulled off the milk line to rest up for calving and shop milk supply drops. We are sold out of milk for today's walk in customers if you ordered milk we have it for you, we do have chocolate milk,kefir,cheese,bacon,ground pork,ground grass finished beef from The Serenity Homestead and Squirrel Tree Ranch honey.
We will be in this low milk situation until November so please text us at 936-523-0743 with you milk requests. Thank you

Doing some tidying up over here at the Dairy. I like to replace the sand pack in our holding area periodically, it keeps my employees happy and so much cleaner. If anyone needs sand, dirt, rock you just need to reach out to this man he will set you up. Thanks Jack

Did you know there is a LITTLE FREE LIBRARY located just at the entrance to GOODGRASS FARM DAIRY AND CREAMERY? I have restocked the shelves with an assortment of juvenile books perfect for summer reading.
Grab some milk, cheese, honey, butter, fresh eggs, sourdough from the shop then stop and look at the selections in the library take a book read it and pass it on.

Quick update on that pr*****ed cow we treated, that walked back to the herd and was fine at 1pm and 4pm but at last check of the day at 7pm she was found stuck chest deep in a gumbo mud puddle needing a tractor and 3 people to wade in and pull her out,set her up right all while it is getting darker every minute and temperature still hovering in the 90 degree range (this day cannot end soon enough) I love cows.
