A day in the life of a hairstylist…who is also a mom…who apparently does not understand the concept of a DAY OFF 😅
Dropped the kids at school ✔️
Grabbed an Alani because, survival ✔️
Got gas ✔️
Tire pressure sensor said, “lol, you thought an easy day was ahead.” 🛞
Now I’m sitting at Discount Tire waiting for them to get the nail out of my tire.
Then it’s: 🛒 Grocery shopping for dinner
Pick up the kids
Head to the salon for a haircut (on my day off, but he's special)
🏠 Go home
🍝 Cook dinner
🫠 Mentally prepare to do it all again tomorrow
And somewhere in there I’m supposed to relax.
Sure. 😅
Honestly though, this is real life. Some days are behind the chair, some days are behind the steering wheel, and some days you’re just sitting in a tire shop drinking an Alani wondering where the heck the day went. And thinking my new bio should read:
"Steph Blendz: hairstylist, mom, chauffeur, chef, mechanic's waiting-room hostage. 💀✂️🛞"

Anybody else’s “day off” look suspiciously like a full workday with extra errands? 🥲

Anyways, add me to your to do list this week and get your hair cut!

But seriously, this little business of mine has grown into something I’m really proud of. From cutting hair, to making new friends, to creating a space that feels like me… all with a close friend, it’s been a pretty cool ride.

So if I hand you one of these, you have officially been recruited.

Give it to the people complimenting your hair.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, booked with me, shared my posts, sent people my way, or just hyped me up from the sidelines.
