I’m originally from Utah where I’ve been behind the chair for 13 years. I recently moved here with my husband and two kids.
I’ve always had a love for helping people feel confident and see their own beauty. Color and extensions are two of my favorite things to create with. I’m so excited to meet new people, build new relationships, and start this new chapter in Williston. I’m available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. I can’t wait to have you in my chair!✨

🤎MEET JAYLIE 🤎

Some introductions mean a little more than others, and this one is incredibly special.

Long before Jaylie was a stylist at Urban Charm, she worked as a receptionist for the salon. We got to watch her leave the salon and head off to cosmetology school, excited to start building a career of her own.

She graduated ready and excited to finally get behind the chair.

But life had a very different plan.

Shortly after graduating, Jaylie was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Instead of beginning the career she had worked so hard for, she suddenly found herself traveling back and forth to Rochester, going through appointments and treatment, and having to put something she loved on hold.

It was an incredibly hard season, but she never gave up on getting here.🤎

And this is where her story gets pretty incredible.

When Jaylie was getting her salon inspection, we realized it had been almost exactly one year since she made that drive to Rochester to begin her cancer journey.

One year.

From making that drive toward one of the scariest and most uncertain chapters of her life…

to standing inside Urban Charm preparing to finally begin the career she had been waiting for.

That feels nothing short of miraculous. 🤍

Getting to witness so many pieces of Jaylie’s journey - from our receptionist, to cosmetology student, through an incredibly difficult year, and now finally welcoming her back as a stylist…has been one of those full-circle moments that feels incredibly humbling.

And while her story deserves to be honored, cancer isn’t Jaylie’s introduction.

She’s kind. She’s determined. She’s worked incredibly hard to get here. She’s excited to learn, grow, build relationships with her clients, and finally show everyone what she can do behind the chair.

After a very long year, Jaylie is healthy, licensed, and FINALLY behind the chair and we are so incredibly happy that chair happens to be at Urban Charm.
