What is "frosting" during a chemical peel! Let me tell you!

Frosting takes place when trichloroacetic acid (TCA) has penetrated as far as it can, and indicates your clinical endpoint. You cannot go over frosted areas, as the acid is already as deep. as it will go. It's not uncommon to see frosting after you've completed the treatment and it can last as long as 24 hours, but don't let that scare you! We love a full face frost!

This was during the client's last peel in a series of 3 using the Isomer Peel.

Peel Series update!
A few posts back you will see her results after having 2 light peels done. Today you're looking at her final result after a 3rd medium depth Isomer peel.
The final peel was the most effective but it does require prep, homecare and a little recovery time (appearance wise).
We are both so happy with the results and will keep up with her tyrosinase inhibitors at home.

Extractions!
I had a young man come in last week to get his blackheads cleared up and boy do I love me some extractions! He was such a good sport and sat like a champ.
I sent him and his mom home with an appropriate cleanser and told him how to better manage the blackheads.
