I’m a Beekeeper within The Little Lake Valley. The Gateway to the Redwoods of California’s North Coast in Mendocino County, Willits California 95490
Our valley is approximately 8,000 acres of which over 2,000 acres are environmentally protected wetlands managed by The Mendocino County Land Conservation Management District. Which contain millions of wildflowers and Blackberry bushes throughout much of the year. The remainder of Our valley consists of mostly undeveloped rangelands and grazing pastures of natural grass. Very little if any commercial farming of crops is conducted in the little lake valley. Mendocino County is a GMO free County per a Voter approved County Ordinance. Mendocino County also has very restrictive ordinances regarding the use of pesticides & herbicides by county or state agencies.
Located in the Heart of Mendocino County my Bee’s are in an environmentally protected location regarding pesticides and herbicides. My bee’s never leave the Little Lake Valley. Due to this isolation. My Beekeeping practices are organic and chemical free. The honey bottling process is performed in a manner that doesn’t involve filtering out the pollen or propolis. My honey remains unpasteurized in an effort to provide all of the health benefits that only a raw,unfiltered,unpasteurized
, chemical free honey will provide. As a Mendocino County Certified Honey Producer. I provide only the best in environment and organic beekeeping practices. Enabling my Bee’s to produce Healthy Natural Honey for you and your family. Honey is available via Porch/Farm Stand pickup and at Willits community events. 1 lb Glass Jar’s are $20 & 1/2 lb Glass Jar’s are $10 Delivery may be available in the Willits area.
